Download options and profiles

Here you can download our recommended ICC profiles. In addition, you can download our colour settings for Photoshop and InDesign and PDF job options for use in InDesign or Acrobat Distiller.

KLS print is based on the ISO 12647-2 standard, and we use ICC profiles from the European Color Initiative ( ECI produces and maintains the ICC profiles that are standard among European printing houses.

The difference between these and the Adobe standard ISO profiles is primarily that Adobe's standard profiles allow very high maximum colour levels (TAC); that's why we recommend using the ECI standards.

Loading colour setup - Windows / OS X:

This file is loaded to a predefined colour setting when you go into the colour settings in InDesign or Photoshop. Once they are loaded, you can quickly switch settings depending e.g. on the use of coated or uncoated paper.

Color Settings must be downloaded and unpacked.

Loading via Photoshop / InDesign:

Open Photoshop / InDesign, then go to the Edit / Color Settings...

Click Load ... and select the colour setup (cfs file), then click Open.

Now the colour setup is loaded and selected with the correct ICC profile. In the future, you can select this colour setup in all Adobe applications.

Input via Bridge:

Open Adobe Bridge and go to Edit/Creative Suite Color Settings.

Click on Show Saved Color Settings Files.

Copy the color setup (cfs) file into the folder that opens.

Go back to Bridge. To update the list, close the window with the Color Settings and reopen it.
